This Privacy Policy describes how Professional Funeral Planning ("PFP," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information through Funeral Bids. By using this platform, you acknowledge this policy. If you do not agree with how we handle your information, please do not use Funeral Bids.
What we collect depends on whether you're a family or a funeral home.
| Families | Funeral Homes |
|---|---|
| Name, email, phone number | Business name, owner name, email, phone |
| Service request details (situation, location, preferences) | License number, service area, facility photos |
| Information about a deceased or pre-planning individual (name, date of birth, date of passing) | Pricing and bid information you submit |
| Payment is never collected from families — this platform is free for families | Payment method (processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number) |
Families: Your contact information (name, phone, email) is never shared with any funeral home until you accept their bid. Before that point, funeral homes only see the details of your service request — not who you are.
